Our Staff

Matt Carter, CPT, NCSA, Owner
Matt was born and raised in Milford, Delaware, he attended Milford High School where he began to develop an interest in physical fitness through his participation in football, track and various water sports. He was accepted into Salisbury University his freshman year where he played football, but then transferred to Fort Lewis College, graduating with a BS in Exercise Science with concentrations in Fitness/Leisure and Coaching.

While Matt had participated in numerous traditional sports as a teenager, the mountains, rivers and woods in the college town of Durango, Colorado introduced him to a wide array of adventure sports such as rock climbing, biking, kayaking, winter/desert camping, and Search and Rescue.

Upon graduation Matt returned to Delaware and started his first business, Rocks, Rims & Rapids, which involved climbing, biking, kayaking, and outdoor personal training. That venture quickly evolved into his present business, Quest Fitness and Kayak.
